When fall presses in with its crisp air and amber light, Downey’s Farm in Caledon turns into something of an autumn stage setting. This is no small roadside patch — the Downey family, now in its fourth generation, has transformed their 100-acre farm into a seasonal retreat.

There are some cities that just have more to offer when it comes to vegan food, dining and amenities. Today, we're showcasing some of the most vegan-friendly cities around the world. There is definitely more to feature, but these cities have great varieties of vegan and vegan-friendly restaurants.

A budding amount of establishments are making way for more sustainable practices that benefit the planet. If you’re planning for any fall getaways or escapes from the looming cold weather, here are some vegan friendly hotels from around the world.

Getting to see and eat from some of these restaurants firsthand was a great endeavour and helped inform what we’ll be including.

When you think of Parisian food, what first comes to mind? Croissants, quiche, croque monsieur? Their most popular foods are usually not made with vegan-friendly ingredients. There are almost always milk and eggs included in the ingredients.

During our further investigation into London’s vegan food scene, we tried a variety of dishes from some amazing places. Now, we can’t reveal all the places just yet, but here’s what we ate at all the places we visited.
